Jetlag.

So,

I figured that it would be like a few days and I'd be fine but I'm pretty sure I'm still completely jet lagged... cause I'm sucking at sleeping. I went to bed yesterday at like 10:30 which was wicked and I was really happy about getting to sleep that early... but I definitely am awake and woke up at like 5:00... eee. So that kinda blows. But hopefully if I start going to bed at a regular time rather than whatever time I feel like it, I should feel better.... my mom's probably like... yeah!

Hope to see you all soon!

Record Breaker!

...For most productive day in Vancouver ever. And man do I have pictures. Granted they aren't amazing cause I'm relying on lil' ol' a920 but they're not bad. So here goes!

Went to the bus stop with Jay!

We got the 22 and then the 25 and he got off and I kept going to Broadway, got a 99 and went to Staples. Picked out some file folders cause I was not going to make them so I just bought them. And some sticky CD/DVD cases to use (genius). Got the bus back home and sat around and worked on them for a while.

Finally!

They came together really well and I was pretty happy with them. It was weird having to make a bunch of them but I had a bunch of crap and didn't have to worry about supplies. So then I had a shower and put some clothes and said farewell to everyone on MSN and off I went. Back to Broadway to go to Mainframe.

As you can see, you can't see much of anything. You can kinda make out one of the Reboot symbols in the middle. There were two guys coming at me (those two blobs) and I figured the worst so I was kinda moving when I took the picture.

And then on my way out as I was crossing the street a chubby guy was walking and I recognized his t-shirt. So I called Jason and he checked for me... just as I thought: Backbone Entertainment is directly across the street from Mainframe. Crazy...

Got on the bus and walked like a hundred miles up Main street to get to Terminal Ave... which then I had to walk about half a mile down... till I got to!!

Radical Entertainment!

which by the way was just as it's name implies... completely radical. Man it was cool

There was a huge atrium as soon as you get in, games on the wall, tv's everywhere!

This is the atrium, you walk out of the elevator and turn left and it's a huge opening and you're up on like a lofty thing... there's games and arcade games and this weird like lodge thing to hang out in and that's like a kitchen counter and a bar thing... kind of a crappy picture.

This is there sweet sign that tells you were to go... left.

And here's the videogames built into the wall all over the place. It was a good experience and everyone had sweet accents... Anyways, I walked all the way back to Main and got on the SkyTrain to go to the Stadium!
So yeah, found my way to Beatty street but of course I was on the wrong end. Let's just say this day involved a LOT of walking. On the way there I found!!

Charles Murphy would kick me in the face right now if he knew I was hanging out at VanArts! It's like this deadly serious animation studio that spits out really good animators...

Anyways, VanArts is directly across the street from...

Rockstar Games! Hurrah!! And let's just say they one the BIG PRIZE for best receptionist! ....

A BOX!!!

So yeah, that kinda sucked. It was just a crazy looking room with jaguar print carpet and cool mirrors so I was wowed for a bit... but there were no real people which was less than impressive. Anyways, it's done now! All we can do is pray and start calling them daily!

And I almost took my exit here... I wish I could... such a good price!

Thanks for staying with me!

A Tale of Bedspreads

Once upon a time, I needed a blanket for my bed. So I and my company of merry men including Mr Daniel Freeman and Mr Luke Buxton took off for IKEA in Richmond. After something of an adventurous busride we made our way to the giant box store.

After much searching we picked out a few necessities and a blanket I was still in need of a cover so we searched high and low for the section that would supply us with the perfect cover... to no avail. All the covers were girlie, lame-ish or Mr Luke would not approve. So we finally picked out a very plain one and headed for the homestead.

Anyways, long story shorter I design a friggin' giant robot and we made a giant stencil out of it and painted it... I have some pictures...

The sad part of this tale is that all the cardboard and crap got stuck to the back side of it and now I'm sleeping with probably about a box worth of cardboard till I wash it... stupid sticky paint. I got most of it off but it's effin' sticky I tell you!

New day!

Ga'morning!

So after virtually no sleep whatsoever... (worst night in BC so far) I'm up and surprisingly chipper, I'm sure I'll pass out at any point... Anyways, Mark Freeman just did the dishes! Of his own accord, nobody asked him or pestered him about it. It was actually quite a site. And then he cleaned up the living room, and next he's planning on tackling the bathroom.

I'd assume he's been taken over by something... cause this is very unlike him. I'm sure after some quality sleep (which is planned for the late morning/early afternoon) I'll be back to my gorgeous and mostly slothful self. That'll be a relief.

So I think I'm addicted to Grey's Anatomy, which scares me because I thought it could only be contracted by girls cause that's who I hear it from... but no, apparently it crosses the gender barrier. Anyways, it's rad. But I only have like 8 episodes and I just got to the last one where his wife shows up! Holy crap! And now what do I do?!

Anyways, here I sit... me and bowl o' cheerios (cinnamon to be precise) listening to the Magic Numbers and quite enjoying myself.

Alright... so I wonder if there's a big scale of blogs that are entertaining versus ones that are kinda just lame and I wonder where this one sits on said scale... well, I dunno, but I'm definitely gonna have to amp up the crazy that I do... or just lie about stuff... I'm leaning towards the first. So if you've been thoroughly bored, don't give up cause I'm probably gonna start doing some very foolish but hopefully HILARIOUS crap... purely for the entertainment of the probably 3 people that read this...

Sleep sucks.

It's late. Like 2:35 late. And I wish I was asleep but at the same time I don't want to be. Sleeping has been something to fight for the past four or so months. Not really sure why... just was something that was never as enjoyable as it used to be. I love bed, just not sleeping... napping is like a taste of heaven... but overnight sleeping... I wouldn't even bother with it if I didn't have to... and I've tried that... it gets a little sketchy. Am I falling apart? It's so two sided.

Doesn't make any sense cause you'd think sleep would be a release from thinking about all the stuff I miss... but maybe I want to be awake if it ever changes... I'm sure it's all very subconscious. Stupid subconscious... and now that I'm far from home, I have much more to miss, still one in particular which is what plagues me the most... just laying here making the choice to stay awake and just think.... about what I don't have? What I hope for? What I'm afraid of losing? I'll tell myself when I figure it out... stupid sleeping.

I need an off switch. Or a teleporter... or both.

Sorry, kinda deep, dark Mark there for a second. I'll be brighter tomorrow.

Sleep tight everyone.

Cellular Madness!

My day chalk full of getting work done turned into me staying in bed all day... which was nice though. Woke up at one and laid around. Anyways, finally took off for Metrotown and met up with Jason to play games... whatever, all that doesn't matter.

I went into Telus to look at cell phones and that was alright, they seemed nice but have to deal with a lot of whahoola... on my way back to the arcade we stopped in at Bell just for giggles and it looks RAD! So hopefully I will get a sweet phone and be able to go on the internet as much as I want... it'll be great!

Now we're home, watching Black Adder and then Dragonheart, which I've wanted to see in forever. We bought some Big Gulps and chips. Dishes are eagerly awaiting a bath but they're just going to have to wait.

And tomorrow is the new day of getting crap done. Wish me luck!

Lazy Bum

That'd be me.

So Jason woke me up today at like 8:45 and I also set an alarm for 10:00. So here I am waking up at 1:00 thinking wha' happened? I probably could have gotten up at 9:00 easy cause I was up and had to shut "Everyone else has had more Sex than me" off... and go to the bathroom. So I could have stayed up then. The 10:00 alarm darn near killed me it was so loud so I was certainly not getting up for something like that...

Anyways, got a sweet email and replied which made my morning/afternoon. Now I'm on msn talking to fun people.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to Metrotown for 5 to play in a SWEET arcade! I may have told about it. I've told my story so many times I don't know who knows what... it's rather stressful! Anyways, got lots of work to do, portfolios to build from scratch without a ruler. Crafts were the last thing I'd guess I'd be doing when I got here but it's about all I've done. I'll have to put up some pictures of my sweet blanket! Oh that's another story!

All for now

I love my Mom!

Dangit!

We made some sweet chicken nuggets and fries for a snack while we watched the game. ("We" is Jason and I... and that's easy cause I don't know anyone else in this giant city yet) He fell asleep on the floor while I talked on MSN. I woke him up, put some pants on and we went to the theatre on 41st and Cambie to see Underworld:Evolution. Shockingly, it was pretty rad! Besides the fact that Kate Beckinsale is so dreamy, the action was pretty rad and there was a very hott and most tasteful sex scene... hee hee, sex.

We went downtown after that and wandered around. Jason bought Take Off Some Landings, the Rilo Kiley album (which we're listening to right now) at this giant HMV and then we went to Red Robin (Jason: "aka the best hambuger place in the world...") which is a dead serious hamburger place. I got a sweet Root Beer float and a bacon cheeseburger. We got a 22 home and now we're back. Our bus driver was entirely androgynous and mostly insane. She whistled and yelled at people on the road. Bonkers.

Anyways, got home and there was an email from my Mom waiting in my inbox and it was great! I'm really worried about her but kind of okay at the same time. I wish I could be home just to be around for her cause I know how much she misses me and I miss her a lot too. I fear she lost her best friend as well as her son and I'm sorry for taking away both. She'll be fine I know, we both will... it'll just take time which doesn't help the right now. Jeez, how many times have I said that.

So yeah, all for now, man I have funny crap to tell you guys! And pictures aplenty... but that'll come in time. That one is me in my doorway right after I woke up. Pretty rad.

The Inaugural Post!

So...

It's been a week trying to get this jerk off the ground and it kinda still isn't but I can at least write. I have many a hilarious tale to tell and pictures aplenty to put up. I really wanna get a camera to take many more hilarious pictures but it might not be till next month. Frig.

So here I am. In Vancouver living it up. Sitting on a friggin' tiny couch with my good pal Jason. Be prepared for many tales of lost love, vicious street fights, touching heartwarming stories and a bunch of other funny things. This blog will supercede many other blogs as the most ridiculous. I'm going to try and do something completely stupid/over the top every week. So stay tuned for funny and probably bloody stories of our adventures away from home!

Piece.

WHAT?
